ILX Lightwaves Laser Reliability Workbook is a free MS Excel based tool that can be used for analyzing and plotting laser diode and LED lifetime data. Up to 100 lifetime data points may be entered into the workbook. The workbook automatically calculates a best fit line to the data for both Weibull and lognormal probability distributions. Probability distribution parameters and times to failure are also calculated. Built in Arrenhius model calculations may be used to estimate time to failure at a second temperature.
