The OMH-67452B Power/Wavehead provides flexibility to easily and accurately measure the optical power and wavelength of high power laser sources. The OMH-67452B design is based on ILX's patented dual integrating sphere measurement heads that were designed for low polarization respoinse. The 67452B uses a one inch water cooled front integrating sphere and a temperature controlled photodetector to provide continuous optical power measurement up to 30W with NIST traceable accuracy of +5.0%. The unique wavelength measurement capability of the OMH-67452B allows the head to "self calibrate" the wavelength dependent response of the detector thru acting like a spectrally-flat thermal detector with the measurement speed of a photodetector. The OMH-67452B is designed for manufacturing testing to increase device throughput by eliminating the need to wait for the thermal detector to settle. Additionally the unique wavelength measurement and NIST traceable power accuracy gives it added benefits in R&D test applications.
